Located in the heart of the Marne Valley, Champagne Christian Diligent embodies the spirit of a family estate deeply rooted in its terroir for generations. Across 11 hectares farmed with a sustainable approach, the domaine is dedicated to expressing the authentic character of Champagne’s grape varieties, with particular emphasis on Pinot Meunier, the emblematic grape of this part of the region.

Planted on typical clay-limestone soils, the vines are tended with great care through limited use of inputs, regular soil work and controlled grass cover. Harvesting is carried out entirely by hand, allowing for a rigorous selection of grapes at optimum ripeness.

In contrast to the major houses known for complex blends, Christian Diligent asserts a pure and precise style. The choice not to block malolactic fermentation on part of the production preserves natural tension and enhances the mineral signature of the Champagnes. Extended ageing on the lees further refines this balance, giving rise to wines with a silky texture, notes of ripe fruit and white flowers, and a subtle brioche touch.
