Presentation
The Cuvelier family, owner of Clos Fourtet (Premier Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Emilion) and Château Poujeaux (AOC Moulis en Médoc), has acquired two Grands Crus Classés located in the heart of Saint-Emilion: Les Grandes Murailles (2 hectares adjacent to Clos Fourtet) and Côte de Baleau (18 hectares, 15 of which are classified).
Winemaking
Fermentation in small temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, moderate extraction, maceration for 24 to 28 days.
Ageing
25% new barrels - 25% barrels of 1 wine - 25% barrels of 2 wines - 25% in tank. 14 months of aging.
Varietals
Merlot : 95%
Cabernet franc : 5%
