Presentation
Château Giscours embodies all the classicism of a great Margaux: finesse of tannins, purity, soft and refined elegance, great length on the palate... For those who know how to wait, the wine of Giscours, this intellectual wine as some connoisseurs describe it, will reveal all its complexity and quench them with its confidences.
Terroir
Located within the Margaux appellation, the exceptional terroir of Giscours possesses all the qualities required to produce a very great wine. Three magnificent gravelly mounds deposited by the Garonne at the beginning of the Quaternary era hold the secret. The gravel that makes them up plays a crucial role, reflecting the sun's rays and maintaining a certain nighttime temperature: ideal conditions for perfect grape ripening. The topography is equally important: an altitude of about twenty meters for the mounds of Petit and Grand Poujeau, 17 meters for Cantelaude which stretches its slopes right up to the castle itself, with an East-West orientation.

Tasting
