Presentation
Having become one of the most sought-after wines of its appellation, Château Clerc Milon has acquired a nobility and richness comparable to the best.
Terroir
The Château Clerc-Milon is a 5th growth classified in 1855 in the Pauillac appellation, which alone holds 3 first growths and many other classified growths. Composed of gravelly and sandy hillsides, often ideally exposed, this terroir offers wines that combine power and structure with elegance and finesse. Château Clerc-Milon, whose vines are immediately adjacent to the 1st growths Mouton and Lafite, belongs to Mouton-Rothschild, which applies the same rigor in viticulture and winemaking. The grape varieties in the vineyard of Château Clerc-Milon are 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot, and 1% Carménère.

Tasting
The five grape varieties grown at Château Clerc Milon were able to fully express themselves in this vintage. The wine benefits from this perfect blend that constitutes its personality. It is very expressive with aromas of black fruits, blackcurrant, but also the crunchy side of the more pronounced red fruits of Merlot, notes of cedar and pepper from Cabernet Sauvignon, a touch of chocolate and the floral character of Cabernet Franc and Carmenère. The tannic structure is present, precise and also very silky. Delicacy prevails, combining depth and amplitude in a very beautiful balance.
