Presentation
"A clog maker was the first to settle on the estate around 1760. His name was Mr. Sabardin, which is also my mother’s maiden name. The family house dates back to 1893 and was built by my grandfather. He joined the cooperative winery as soon as it was created. I have been its President since 1999, twenty years after taking over the estate. I represent the 9th generation!
From 9 hectares of vineyards at the time, we have grown to 18 today. But beyond the increase in size, our focus is above all on quality and ethics, which is why we are committed to an organic farming approach.”

Tasting
Château Du Ballandreau reveals a deep ruby-red colour and an intense bouquet with notes of ripe red fruits, complemented by a hint of spice.
The palate is round and generous, supported by elegant tannins. A wine with excellent ageing potential.
Food pairings
Ideal with roasted or slow-cooked red meats, as well as a selection of cheeses.
