Château Audinet is grown by the renowned Mercadier family, also owner until 1992 of the famous Premier Grand Cru Classé Château Suduiraut.
The estate covers 6 hectares of 60 years old vines, planted on an exceptionnal terroir composed of clay, limestone and gravels, giving a unique typicity to its wines.
Following in the footsteps of his father Philippe, Paul Mercadier nurtures his wines with passion, creating cuvées of timeless elegance and perfect balance.

Winemaking

Picking by hand and successive sorting to select the best ripe grapes.
Traditional winemaking in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats
Long vatting for 12 months.

Tasting

Château Audinet reveals a bright golden hue and an intense bouquet of orange, marmalade and honey, enhanced by citrus notes. The palate is perfectly balanced between acidity and sugar, offering delicious aromas of ripe apricot and orange. It lingers on delicate notes of lemon, giving a pleasant sensation of freshness.

Food pairings

Château Audinet will be perfect to pair with refined dishes such as poultry in sauce, foie gras or blue-veined cheese. It will be also the ideal companion to improvised moments or unformal apéritifs.
