Château Courtieu is the symbol of the region's rich winemaking tradition, elegantly combining age-old winemaking skills with modern production techniques. Each bottle embodies the very essence of Bordeaux terroirs, capturing the subtle nuances of climate, soil and grape variety.
The 25 years old vineyard covers 22 hectares planted on the clayey terroirs of Saint-Hilaire de La Noaille, a charming village situated in the Entre-Deux-Mers region.

Tasting

Château Courtieu reveals a deep ruby colour.
The nose offers intense aromas of ripe red and black fruit (cherry, plum, blackcurrant), tobacco, cedar and sweet spices, with a hint of vanilla and toast.
Tha palate is well balanced with fresh acidity and evokes ripe fruit, dark chocolate and coffee flavours, .
Long, persistent finish, with notes of black fruit and spice.

Food pairings

Ideal with a pan of wild mushrooms and seasonal vegetables or grilled lamb chops with a mint sauce.
