Visuel Ch LavergneBoyer

Château Lavergne Boyer, AOP Bordeaux, Rouge, 2023

Presentation

"Nestled in the heart of Saint Laurent du Plan, Château Lavergne Boyer bears the traces of a rich past - once a fortified stronghold dating back to the time of the Templars. Today, only a few remnants remain, but its legacy lives on through the vines. As the fifth generation of winemakers in my family, I am proud to uphold the traditions and craftsmanship passed down over the years, continuing a story that began centuries ago.
My vineyard covers 34 hectares planted on a grat terroir made of clay and limestone."
Thomas Carrère, owner.

Tasting

Château Lavergne Boyer reveals a beautiful garnet color with Bordeaux highlights. The nose opens with delicate aromas of ripe fruit, cherry, and blackberry. After a bold initial impression, the palate is round and warm, supported by a silky tannic structure. A wine of character, typical of a hot and dry vintage and a true expression of Merlot.

Food pairings

A cuvée to be enjoyed with grilled or roasted red meats, as well as with traditional dishes from the South-West of France.
