Presentation
Our winery was built in 1935 in Mesterrieux, near Castelmoron d'Albret, the smallest commune in France. The old village railway station is now used as a barrel cellar. Our cellar is named after the famous Jeanne d'Albret, a woman of conviction and character, Queen of Navarre and mother of King Henry IV, who owned lands and châteaux in the Entre-deux-mers region. She left her mark on history by her tenacious defence of Protestantism and freedom of thought. Heirs to this illustrious personality, our wines are today made with the same passion; a passion that leads us to organic farming for our vineyards.
