Sustainable grape varieties reduce the use of pesticides. They help preserving biodiversity and soil health. Fewer chemicals also mean less pollution of the air, water and surrounding ecosystems. Sustainble grape varieties are also resilient, they are adapted to climate change conditions, making them more resistant to heat and period of drought.

Presentation

Artaban is a cross between Aramon, an ancient traditional Languedoc grape variety, and Ganzin (an old variety created by Professor Ganzin after the phylloxera crisis with good color potential).

Harvested in the heart of Languedoc.

We cultivate our Artaban in compliance with High Environmental Value (HVE3) specifications : low use of chemicals, respect of the biodiversity and control of water usage.
