SAINT ANTOINE ROUGE

La Vicomté, Chapelle Saint Antoine, AOP Languedoc, Rouge, 2025

Situated in the heart of the world's largest wine-producing region, the vineyards of the Vicomté winegrowers cover more than 7,500 hectares. They grow on undulating land fed by the sediments of the Hérault river, but also on more chalky soils such as the Villefranchian terraces and the semi-slopes. Benefiting from a Mediterranean climate, dry and arid in summer and mild in winter, we harvest the finest varieties of grape.

Presentation

A 17th-century hermitage, the Chapelle Saint Antoine dominates the middle Hérault valley and the foothills of the Causses du Larzac. Our vines grow on plains formed by alluvial deposits resulting from erosion of the valley.
