FAMILLE RAVOIRE - Maison Ravoire - AOP Côtes du Rhône Villages Sainte Cécile Red 2025

Established in France since 1593, the Ravoire family has anchored its history generation after generation in the heart of the Rhône Valley. Building on this family attachment to the vine, the Maison Ravoire range pays tribute to the meticulous work of passionate men and women who cultivate the soils in search of excellence and preservation of our terroirs.

Presentation

This Côtes du Rhône Villages Sainte-Cécile is the result of a rigorous blending of grapes from the best plots of the appellation. Accompanied by meticulous vinification and aging, it reveals the potential of each of the selected terroirs.

Terroir

Nature of the soils: Clay-limestone with sands, silts, and some rounded pebbles.

In the vineyard

Average age of the vines: 50 years.

Winemaking

The grapes are destemmed and then crushed, thermoregulated fermentation in stainless steel tanks with pumping over and rack and return, then maceration for about 3 weeks. Aging in stainless steel tanks.

Varietals

Grenache noir : 60%
Syrah : 30%
Mourvèdre : 10%

Serving

Ideal serving temperature: 16°C to 18°C.

Tasting

Garnet red dress with purple reflections. The nose is dominated by red (strawberry) and black (blackcurrant) fruits, with licorice notes. In the mouth, the wine is round, powerful, with well-present but ripe tannins, the finish is long, with notes of licorice and spices.
