Presentation
In a class of its own. Internationally renowned, the little village of Chambolle summarizes the best that Burgundy has to offer in terms of elegance, depth, complexity, subtlety, and delicateness. Its wines are rare and boast somewhat of an extra dimension. They never cease to amaze, always revealing an unexpected palette of aromas and flavours. The Delaunay family, who lived in Chambolle until 1954, still has a sentimental attachment to this village and for whom this appellation is in a class of its own.

Tasting
Magnificent bright ruby red colour. The nose is highly expressive, refined and delicate, both subtle and captivating, revealing notes of red fruits (cherry, raspberry) and flowers (rose), complemented by a hint of vineyard peach and cooked fruit. The palate opens with a smooth and seductive attack, supported by a well-integrated acidity. The balance between freshness and ripeness is precise, carried by fine, powdery tannins that accompany the wine throughout the tasting. A slight firmness at this stage suggests excellent ageing potential over the coming years. A complex wine and a fine expression of its village.
Food pairings
Ideal with roasted poultry, delicate veal or sautéed mushrooms, highlighting its finesse, elegance and delicate tannins.
