Etiquette - Vieille Lune VDF Rosé 75cl

Vieille Lune, Grenache-Cinsault, Vin de France, Rosé, 2024

Presentation

Vindorado, a wholesaler based in the Netherlands, offers a wide selection of wines, including the "Vieille Lune" range, created in collaboration with the oenologists of Maison Badet Clément. The "Vieille Lune" range, accessible and spicy, highlights the "Grenache" grape variety, cultivated in the south of France since antiquity. These wines, fresh, supple, and tasty, reflect the very particular character of Grenache Blanc and Noir.

Terroir

The grapes come from various Mediterranean terroirs.

In the vineyard

Low yield of 50 hl/ha.

Winemaking

Rosé from "bleeding". Maceration in tanks of whole clusters (red grape variety) until desired coloration (after a few hours). Grapes pressed then vinified like a white wine (fermentation of the juice alone) at low temperature (15°C). No malolactic fermentation. Relatively early bottling.

Tasting

This rosé displays a beautiful light pink color and seduces with its fresh aroma, featuring wild strawberry notes, without any artificial hints. A slight touch of spices reminiscent of elegant Provence rosés, accompanied by a pure freshness on the palate that makes each sip irresistible.

Food pairings

Serve very chilled (8°C), as an aperitif, with salads, braised or grilled meats, stuffed peppers, pasta, or cheese (Cantal).
