Presentation
Yes, this dream land, this Luberon, we, the winemakers of Marrenon, will preserve and protect it. For us, for you, for our children and for our ancestors who designed it. These symbolic villages are marked by our art of living. This pure mountain, whose secret springs nourish a human landscape, is defined by the vines. We, the farmers, are forever the actors of this land and will remain its guardians.
Terroir
2 main terroirs: on the south Luberon side, plots with limestone fragments, in an early-ripening zone, and plots at 500m altitude on clay-limestone soils with very high stony content. On the north side, the vines are located at an altitude of 400 metres, facing north, with clay-limestone soils.
Harvest
Harvesting always starts very late, at the end of September and lasts until 10 October.
Winemaking
The harvest is destemmed, and the grapes are then vinified with the aim of achieving a gentle, controlled extraction, but during a long maceration period of 5 to 6 weeks, passively. Only the run-off juice is recovered.
Ageing
Aged for 2 years in 100% new barrels.

Syrah : 100%
