Presentation
Vindorado, a wholesaler based in the Netherlands, offers a wide selection of wines, including the "Vieille Lune" range, created in collaboration with the oenologists of Maison Badet Clément. The "Vieille Lune" range, accessible and spicy, highlights the "Grenache" grape variety, cultivated in the south of France since antiquity. These wines, both fresh, supple, and flavorful, reflect the very particular character of Grenache Blanc and Noir.
Terroir
Our Grenache and Merlot come from different terroirs that we have carefully selected to achieve a balanced final blend, expressing the typical characteristics of each grape variety.
Winemaking
The harvest is mechanized. The grapes, harvested when fully ripe, are completely destemmed. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature (relatively low to maximize fruit) with regular pump-overs. Malolactic fermentation is fully carried out. The wine is then aged in tanks for several months.
Tasting
This wine, made from Merlot and Grenache Noir, has a beautiful bright and deep red color. Its intense nose reveals aromas of red fruits (blackcurrant and raspberry) with a hint of spices. On the palate, it is round, friendly, and slightly fresh, offering a very tasty tasting.
Food pairings
Serve at 16°C. It pairs perfectly with traditional or spicy cuisine: stuffed tomatoes, salted pork with lentils, steak, chicken with ratatouille.
