The Domaine de Wilfrid Rousse, in Organic Agriculture, is located on the right bank of the Vienne river, west of Chinon. In 1987, the year of the first vintage, the estate had only one hectare in production; then over the years, by taking care to choose the terroirs and to have a harmony in the soils and the exposure of the vines, the number of parcels has increased to 19 hectares.

Tasting
The grapes here ripen quickly but retain Chenin’s signature acidity; while the wine is richly textured, it still has tremendous poise and freshness.
Food pairings
Pair it with fish or chicken à la crème. It’s also great with roast turkey – it’ll go down a storm on Christmas Day.
