San Matteo

The San Matteo winery has existed since 1895 and has become an important player in the Prosecco production since then. The 40-hectare vineyard stands in the heart of “Proseccoland”, close to Vincenza. A student of some of the top Italian wine professors (Manzoni, Muller and Micconi), Bruno Cielo began bottling the property’s wines in 1959. With a 10,000 square meter state of the art winery with 4 completely
hermetic bottling lines, the estate insures the purity of their product and reactivity to demand. The facility has gained recognition in its safety, hygiene, environmental procedures and care for their staff making them ahead of the curve. The Proseccos earned a gold medal in the prestigious Berlin Wine Trophy.
