Founded in 1979 by Monsieur and Madame Bardin, the estate has been family-run for over four decades, with their daughter Audrey joining 20 years ago. It spans 18 hectares in total - 4 hectares in Pouilly-sur-Loire and 14 in Sancerre, where 1.5 hectares are planted with Pinot Noir and the rest with Sauvignon Blanc. About 80% of the vineyards lie in Saint-Satur, with additional plots in Verdigny, Sancerre, and Sury-en-Vaux.
Location
The vineyards in St Satur are exposed South with an altitude of approx. 250m.
Terroir
Great majority of flint and a smaller proportion of flint and clay.
In the vineyard

Harvest by hand, yields are deliberately low.
8h are worked completely organic since 2018, the other vineyards are in sustainable farming.
Winemaking
Fermentation with wild native yeast only in glass fiber tanks. Ageing on lees for 6 months. No malolactic fementation.

Tasting
Bright yellow color, citrus fruit, white-fleshed fruit notes, an expressive nose followed by a quite round and elegant palate with hints of followed by a great freshness and mineral finish.
