Domaine Font Sarade is located in the South of France, in Vacqueyras, a small Provencal village protected by the Dentelles de Montmirail, a stone's throw from the picturesque village of Gigondas. The story begins in 1936, with René Devine, who cultivates 10 hectares of vines and sells his wine in barrels to local wine merchants. Les Hauts de la Ponche, the emblematic and historic cuvée of the estate, has a purplish color, with aromas of red fruits and garrigue.
It represents the perfect balance of our terroirs. It can be enjoyed young depending on the vintage and can be kept for 10 years or more.

18 hectares located in the north of the commune of Vacqueyras, on the Ponche plateau.
Terroir
Terroir of clayey marl and rolled pebbles.

The yield is 50hl/ha.
Winemaking
Hand picked, destemmed, vatting for 20 to 25 days at low temperature
