The originality of our cuvée MozaÏk is an assembly of Cabernet franc from two great terroirs and subsoil of Anjou: schist of Anjou “black” and limestone of Anjou “white”.
Location
Located in the extension of the Armorican Massif, the Clisson vineyards follow the contours of a granite massif known as “Clisson granite”.
Terroir
A siliceous rock, this granite produces shallow, fairly poor soils that warm up well.
Winemaking
Harvested when ripe, then fermented in underground tanks.
Ageing
After 8 months on its lees, it is bottled in the spring.
