Nos Marques, Nos Sélections, Pessange, AOC Médoc, Rouge, 2023

Presentation

Presentation
In-depth research is being conducted on the coat of arms featured on the label of the Pessange wine. This coat of arms, rich in symbols, tells a fascinating story. The structure that appears to be a tower could actually represent a mill, probably the windmill of Pey de Lassus. The water in front of the tower would symbolize the "palus" or marshes in the area near the place called Pessange. As for the two unicorns with seahorse tails, they evoke the purification of water, bringing strength, courage, power, and wonder.

A promising program for this wine and for those who will have the pleasure of tasting it!

Tasting
Very beautiful color, supported and deep. A first intense nose of macerated red fruits then opens towards spicy notes of clove. The attack is very round. The mouth is full, supported by very ripe tannins. Château Prignac is a characterful Médoc that will seduce lovers of traditional Médoc wines and will also attract the attention of consumers accustomed to round, pleasurable wines. Perfect with a veal stew.
