Domaine Loew is a family winery located next to Strasbourg. It was founded in 1996 by Etienne Loew, coming from a family with a rich history dating back to the 18th century. The estate of 6.5 hectares is spread out on 5 villages, with many various terroirs, but all the same subsoil of marl. Etienne is very attached to the protection of his land: the estate has been farmed biodynamically since 1996.

Terroir
Twenty-year-old vines located on the Bruderbach geological fault between the Sandstone and the Muschelkalk terroir (calcareous). The amphitheater-shaped, south-facing soil heats up quickly and stays that way for a long time. Plot of 1 hectare.
Winemaking
Hand-harvested, indigenous yeasts only. Nature wine.
Harvested only in fruit days, according to the Biodynamic calendar.
Fermented all winter with ageing on lees until summer.
