Tasting
The wine displays a deep garnet hue with violet highlights, reflecting both youth and concentration.
The nose is intense and refined, opening on notes of licorice, followed by ripe black fruit aromas dominated by blackcurrant and blackberry—hallmarks of the great terroirs of La Livinière.
On the palate, the texture is generous and harmonious, supported by silky tannins that lend elegant structure. A fine balance between freshness, depth, and velvety smoothness carries through to a long, persistent, and refined finish.
Food pairings
This wine pairs ideally with a roasted rack of lamb with Mediterranean herbs, a duck breast with black fruits, a grilled or stewed piece of beef; it also goes very well with aged cheeses, especially sheep's cheese.
