LES PETITS PINS Rouge, 2024

Located in the heart of the Catalan village of Baixas, Château les Pins is a real master's house, steeped in history. Founded in 1854 by the Duverney family, proud defenders of their cellar, its terroir, and its traditions, it is in this spirit that our limited-edition vintages represent this chivalrous nobility, with refined, cultivated, and conquering wines. Today, it houses the Town Hall and a barrel cellar where mainly our fortified wines age.

Presentation

Terroir
High terraces of Quaternary stony lands with shallow soils, low water reserves. Rigorous selection of plots based on age, yield, and health status. The soil is mechanically worked where winemakers leave the soil grassed. Pruning in Cordon de Royat and Gobelet.
In the vineyard
Hand-picked grapes.
Winemaking
This vintage comes from work using the same farming methods as their big brother "Château les Pins". With shorter aging and gentler extractions, these wines are very appealing in their youth.
Varietals
Carignan
Grenache noir
Mourvèdre
Syrah
Vignerons engagés
RSE Exemplaire
