Presentation
Château Fleur Terrien is a family-owned estate operated since 1928 by the Chaignaud family. Passed down through generations, it is now managed by Olivier, who, like his father Denis, is actively involved with the Vignerons de Puisseguin Lussac Saint-Émilion. The estate practices environmentally conscious viticulture, notably through the planting of hedgerows to preserve biodiversity.
The vintage
This is a classic vintage that produced structured wines and well-balanced. These wines are ready to be enjoyed now, offering immediate pleasure.
Terroir
Crafted from the appellation’s signature clay-limestone soils, this wine balances structured depth from clay with elegance and finesse from limestone, delivering a refined texture and lively freshness.
In the vineyard
Grape selection begins in summer with vineyard monitoring, combining infrared (FOSS) analyses and berry tastings, enabling us to plan precise and optimized harvests.
Winemaking
Vinification is carried out traditionally: grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks using selected yeasts to preserve the true expression of the grape varieties. Gentle pump-overs early in fermentation extract fine tannins and color, much like steeping tea, achieving a balanced palate without bitterness. Malolactic fermentation occurs naturally, softening acidity for a smoother mouthfeel.
Ageing
The twelve-month aging in concrete tanks allows natural micro-oxygenation, promoting a gradual softening of the tannins while preserving the freshness of the fruit.

Tasting
This wine displays a deep ruby color with garnet highlights. The nose reveals lively aromas of ripe red fruits, blackberry, and subtle spicy nuances. On the palate, it offers a balanced structure with smooth, mature tannins and a long, fresh, and elegant finish.
Food pairings
The fruity flavors and soft tannins of Château Fleur Terrien pair beautifully with slow-cooked dishes such as beef bourguignon or Provençal daube, as well as grilled red meats. For cheese lovers, choose cheeses like Comté or Beaufort, which complement the wine’s structure.
