Terroir
A part of the vineyard is located on decomposed granite (called here "gore"), the other part on clay and limestone soil with alluvial sediments.
Winemaking
Traditional, the grapes are partly destemmed. Punching downs are made twice a day. The maceration lasts about 3 weeks.
Ageing
The wine is aged in oak barrels for 12 to 14 months.
