Overview and History

· Founded in 1934 and located in the heart of the Médoc, the co-op brings together about 100 members, primarily producers from the Médoc and Haut-Médoc, with nearly 800 hectares of vineyards on varied soils (gravel, clay-limestone, and sandy-gravel).
· The co-op favours collective, participatory management with a long-term focus and a strong human element.

Environmental and Quality Commitments

· Since 1993, the cooperative’s environmental approach has evolved, ensuring transparency, respect for biodiversity, and sustainable practices.
· It maintains active biodiversity (grass-covered vineyards, hedgerows, beehives) and works to preserve the local environment, integrating social, environmental, and economic concerns into its activities.

Production and Winemaking

• Winemaking takes place in our cellars, with a focus on authenticity and quality, respecting the terroir while using modern techniques.
• Part of our production is aged in our magnificent barrel cellar.

Goals and Values

• The cooperative celebrates its terroirs, its grape varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot), and the environmental diversity of the Médoc to craft wines of character, authenticity, and enjoyment.
• It operates within a social and solidarity-based economic framework, promoting cooperation, solidarity, and social responsibility, while sharing its profits with its members.

In summary

Les Vignerons d'Uni-Médoc is a cooperative committed to sustainable viticulture that respects its land, producing authentic, high-quality wines that embody human and environmental values.
