The origin of the name "De Bensse" dates back to the 17th century. Nicolas De Bensse was a squire in the Order of Saint-Louis. This Order was created by Louis XIV to reward Catholic officers. The Château de Bensse is the building of the Vieux Colombiers winery which now hosts our vineyard teams.

The dress is a beautiful bright red. The nose offers aromas of cherries and ripe berries with pleasant notes of wood, spices, and cocoa. The mouth is smooth and full with melted tannins. The wine seduces with its balance, finesse, and elegance.
