Château Courbian 2022

Presentation

Presentation
Château Courbian is operated by Jérôme HERBER in the municipality of Bégadan. Since the 18th century, the hamlet of Courbian, nestled to the west of Bégadan, bears witness to a rich winemaking tradition. In the past, its lands not only hosted vineyards, but also cereal fields and pastures for sheep. The windmill, overlooking the landscape, was the silent witness of this agricultural diversity. Over the centuries, winemaking has prevailed, transforming the face of Courbian. Today, the châteaux scattered throughout the hamlet perpetuate this heritage, offering exceptional wines from centuries-old terroirs. The stone houses, clustered around the road, and the crosses marking time, give Courbian an authentic atmosphere steeped in history.
