Presentation
This is a family property and the story began over a century ago. In the 1920s, Frédéric CRUCHON, a cooper by trade and passionate about wine, bought land in Médoc in the town of Prignac-en-Médoc and planted a few rows of vines. His son Henri expanded the vineyard in the 1950s and decided to take his grapes to the Prignac-en-Médoc cooperative cellar. He also had cows that took up a lot of his time. André, Henri's son, continued the winegrowing activity while remaining a member of the cooperative cellar LES VIGNERONS D'UNI-MEDOC, which brought together 4 cellars from the North Médoc between 1960 and 1980, including that of Prignac-en-Médoc. It is now Stéphane, André's son, who takes care of the property. He also has some corn fields.

Tasting
Very beautiful color, rich and deep. An intense first nose of macerated red fruits then opens up to spicy notes of cloves. The attack is very round. The mouth is full, supported by very ripe tannins. Château Prignac is a characterful Médoc that will seduce fans of traditional Médoc wines and also attract the attention of consumers accustomed to round wines.
