Like the super Tuscans, I created the GRAND OCCITAN range to highlight the unique character of Languedoc wines. Our cuvées are made from grape varieties that combine the world of Appellations d'Origine Protégée (AOP) with that of Protected Geographical Indications. For example, we produce Cabernet Sauvignon on AOP land, combining tradition and modernity to create great wines.
The Languedoc, with its rich micro-terroirs, is perfectly expressed in our Astelia range. Each parcel, although neighbouring, has different soils, humidity, exposure, and altitude, suited to specific grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Grenache. Discover Grangette 111, Tannes 122 and Chalamat 178, each revealing the authenticity and diversity of our terroirs.
The numbers on each cuvées reflect the altitude of the plots, all of which are located within a 2km radius.

Advice
Visual appearance
Deep red with purple hints.
At nose
Nose of redcurrant jelly, blueberry, mocha, roasted coffee evolving towards notes of blackcurrant and pepper..
On the palate
A powerful, opulent wine with good tannin, suggesting good ageing potential. Full-bodied on the palate, with a finish of mocha and chocolate. The promise of a great wine.
Food pairings
Serve at 15/17 ° C, it will perfectly match a Rossini tournedos, a short ribs and its pan-fried porcini mushrooms, or mature cheeses.
