Presentation
Chantal BOYER, a winegrower in Blaignan-Prignac, owns Château Les Lilas. It is a 20-hectare estate mainly planted with Merlot (75%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (25%). The vines are located in the communes of Blaignan-Prignac, Civrac-en-Médoc, Couquèques, and Bégadan. The name of the château, Les Lilas, is her own creation, as the family property, initially used for livestock farming and a few vines, was taken over by her father after the war. Since 1982, Chantal BOYER has managed the estate and renamed the château to better reflect its identity. She has created a simple label with colors she likes, and her wine, which is fruity and delicious, is particularly popular with women.

Tasting
Very beautiful color, rich and deep. A first intense nose of macerated red fruits then opens up to spicy notes of cloves. The attack is very round. The mouth is full, supported by very ripe tannins. It is a characterful Médoc that will seduce lovers of traditional Médoc wines. It will also attract the attention of consumers accustomed to round, pleasurable wines.
