The originality of our cuvée MozaÏk is an assembly of Cabernet franc from two great terroirs and subsoil of Anjou: schist of Anjou “black” and limestone of Anjou “white”.
Location
Located in the extension of the Armorican Massif, the Clisson vineyards follow the contours of a granite massif known as “Clisson granite”.
Terroir
Saumur Rouge comes from the southern Saumur region, from old vines planted on chalk with small limestone pebbles.
Winemaking
Harvested when ripe, then fermented in underground tanks.
Ageing
Aged in concrete during 10 months.
