The Domaine was taken over in 1985 by the Benoit family and is located close the village of Baux de Provence. The vineyard covers 10 hectares in the Alpilles massif, with chiselled peaks and the village of Eygalières as a backdrop, which is a picturesque site of the Provence region.

This wine comes from the privileged terroir of Provence, which enjoys a variety of soils resulting in an environment that favours a diversity of flavours. The alliance between the region’s landscapes and geology, also the Mediterranean climate, confer much depth and uniqueness to the wine.
Terroir
Nature of the soils: clay-limestone.
Winemaking
Mechanical harvest. The juice is obtained for half by direct pressing and by bleeding for the other half. Fermentation at very low temperature only in stainless steel vats. The wine is blocked before the malolactic fermentation.

Tasting
Shiny and clear salmon-pink colour. The nose is refined and delicate with light touches of flint. The wine is supple and full-bodied on the palate, with hints of flint.
