Just like the French language, l’Arlésienne is mysterious. More than just an inhabitant of the city of Arles in the heart of Provence, l’Arlésienne is infamous for standing people up, to the point that l’Arlésienne became part of the French language as a well-known French expression - thanks to Alphonse Daudet, Provençal at heart, poet and novelist, who named one of his greatest tales after the one who never shows up (a French version of Waiting for Godot).

Presentation
L’Arlésienne is a classic Provence style rosé and a blend of grapes organically grown in the Côtes-de-Provence. Light pink in color, this rosé offers aromas of flowers and fresh citrus fruit on the nose. Floral notes coupled with that kind of rich stone fruit you only get from wines from this part of France. The palate is bright and fresh with flavors of exotic fruits and lime. It has great intensity as well
as strong minerality and saltiness. It's rich, juicy and structured. A summer staple and a true gustatory escapade!

Winemaking
Harvested at sunrise to noon. Destemming and slight crushing at cold temperature to avoid oxidation. Both the free run and pressed juices are transferred to stainless vessels where fermentation is started and held at strictly controlled temperatures in state-of-the-art gravity-fed cellar.

Tuna Crudo
Tuna crudo is an Italian take on sashimi, although there is a long tradition of eating raw fish in the Mediterranean. There’s not much to this recipe, just pristine slices of tuna or some similar fish, olive oil, lemon and maybe capers and some fresh herbs. Good, flaky sea salt is nice, too. Learn more ›
