Tasting
This Château Saint-Michel opens to aromas of cherries and spices woven together with mineral, fresh cut floral and tobacco. This medium-bodied red possesses a fine, silky texture and nice balance all the way through the finish. There is a lovely elegance to this wine which should flesh out and continue.
Food pairings
Pressed-uncooked cheeses such as cantal, edam, mimolette or gouda. This wine goes very well with red meats, duck, poultry or pork.
