Seven centuries of viticulture can be concluded that the terroir of Château Sainte Roseline is one of the most outstanding Provence. He has also been awarded in 1955 with the distinction "CRU CLASSE".

Château Sainte Roseline is a very old monastery (XII century). Founded by a hermit named Roubaud who, seduced by the beauty of the place, the quiet and the presence of an abundant source, decided to retire there. Roseline, daughter of the Marquis de Villeneuve, Lord of the Arcs was the Mother Prioress of the Abbey from 1300 to 1329. Very pious and generous, she strongly marked local people and it is natural that gave its name to the place. It was sanctified in the nineteenth century and his body now rests in a glass reliquary in the chapel hall.

In the fourteenth century, under the leadership of the Bishop of Fréjus, the future Pope John XXII, Avignon Pope, the site became one of the first vineyards in Provence. She always kept its leading role as Henri de laval Rasque, previous owner, was the first president of the Union des Vignerons du Var.

In 1994, Mr. Bernard Teillaud resumes in hands the destiny of this extraordinary property with the aim of making it one of the jewels of the southern viticulture and artistic site.
